2Set up your profile

Create an account with your email or sign in with Apple or Google. Add a profile photo and a short bio. Your profile is where your Aura Score will live, and it's what other users see when they interact with your posts. A complete profile tends to attract more ratings because it looks like a real person, not a throwaway account.

3Upload your fit

Tap the camera icon to create a new post. You can take a new photo in-app or choose one from your camera roll. For the best results, use a full-length shot in good lighting so raters can actually see the whole outfit. Natural light is ideal. Add a short caption to give context: "first day outfit" or "trying this layering look" helps raters understand your intent before they score.

4Watch ratings come in

Once you post, your outfit enters the community feed and people start rating it. Each time someone rates your post, you get a notification. You'll see the score they gave, and you can choose to reveal their identity by watching a short ad. Scores are averaged in real time, so your post's rating updates as more people weigh in.

Understanding your score

Scores on AuraRate range from 1.0 to 10.0. Here's a rough sense of what each range means based on community behavior:

• 8.0 to 10.0: Exceptional. The community genuinely loves this outfit.
• 6.5 to 7.9: Strong. A solid, well-put-together look with broad appeal.
• 5.0 to 6.4: Average. The outfit works but doesn't stand out.
• Below 5.0: The outfit missed the mark for this community, which is useful information too.

Your overall Aura Score is the cumulative average across all your posts. It grows as you get more ratings and tends to stabilize over time as the sample size increases.
